Slate At Founders Tower

Eli Menendez is the Owner and Founder of Slate at Founders Tower, a luxury event venue atop Oklahoma City's historic Founders Tower. He oversees operations, sales, and the elevated client experience that defines Slate's weddings, corporate events, and private gatherings. Before founding Slate, Eli spent nearly two decades in the energy industry as a Petrophysicist, Log Analyst, and Field Engineer — working across the U.S., Mexico, and Colombia with companies including Halliburton and Devon Energy. He holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma (2002). He brings that same engineering mindset to entrepreneurship: precise execution, high standards, and long-term thinking. Outside of work, Eli is a proud father to his nine-year-old son, Franco, an avid soccer player, and a passionate traveler.
