About Us

Black Widow Model Disposal Company was founded by Connie and Jim Root. The idea behind the company is to be a resource for families who have a plastic model collection that they need to clear out of their house. We understand that the collection that was a source of joy to the modeler has now become a source of anxiety to the family when their loved one is no longer able to build. We come in and visit them, review the collection and if we are good fit we will make an offer. Once the offer is accepted, we will pack it up and move it out of the house. Maybe it's a modeler that's decided they want to go in a different direction or have too many kits and need to clear out some space. We will help them do that!

We then sell the pre-owned kits, decals and accessories. You can purchase them online. We ship to all 50 states, or you can shop in person at our store at 2823 Epperly Del City, OK 73115. We are open Saturdays from 9-1 unless noted differently and evenings by appointment. We also attend regional model shows in KS, AR, and OK.
