Santa Fe South Schools - West Middle School is Looking for Guest Speakers

Calling Local Professionals & Business Leaders!  West Middle School is looking for local business professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who would be willing to share their careers and experiences with our 8th grade students!

Throughout the school year, we hope to welcome at least 9 guest speakers from a variety of fields and businesses. Each speaker would spend approximately 20 minutes with our students, sharing:

• What you do and what your career looks like

• How you got started in your field

• The education, training, or experiences that helped you along the way

• What you enjoy about your work

• Advice you would give to students who may be interested in a similar career

Our goal is to expose students to a wide variety of careers and career paths while helping them see the many opportunities available in our community.

If you or someone you know would be interested in being a guest speaker, please contact  Celestia Stacy, school counselor for more information. 405-974-1325
