DESCRIPTION:After closely monitoring the weather forecast and considering the safety and experience of our participants\, vendors\, sponsors\, volunteers\, and attendees\, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 2026 Southern Thunder Car Show scheduled for Saturday\, June 6.\n\nWhile we were looking forward to an incredible day of classic cars\, community\, food\, and family fun\, the forecasted rain and thunderstorms would significantly impact the event experience and safety for everyone involved.\n\nWe are currently working to secure a new date and will share those details as soon as they are finalized!\n\nWe remain committed to bringing Southern Thunder Car Show to our community and look forward to welcoming everyone on a sunnier day very soon.\n\nThank you for your understanding and continued support. Stay tuned for our new event date announcement coming soon! If you have any questions\, please don't hesitate reach out anytime. I will be sending updates as soon as we have them available. \n\nStart your engines and join us for the Southern Thunder Car Show. This annual event brings together an incredible variety of classic cars\, custom builds\, and standout vehicles for a morning filled with horsepower\, community spirit\, and family-friendly fun.\n\nVehicle registration is $25 per car\, with registration and check in open from 8 to 11 a.m.\n\nVendor booth space is also available for businesses looking to connect with attendees\, at $200 for Chamber members and $300 for non-members.\n\n\n\nGuests are invited to walk the show\, meet fellow car enthusiasts\, and enjoy the awards presentation recognizing crowd favorites and standout entries.\n\nAwards will be presented for Show Favorite\, Sponsor Favorite\, and Kids Pick.\n\nVisitors can also enjoy breakfast and lunch on site at the event\, music\, as well as door prize giveaways provided by local businesses and connect with community partners and local first responders\, including the Oklahoma City Fire Department\, Cleveland County Sheriff's Department\, and more.\n\nThe Southern Thunder Car Show is more than a showcase of vehicles. It is a celebration of community\, local partnerships\, and shared passions.
