SUMMARY:Applications Open for Leadership OKC Signature Program - Due April 4
DESCRIPTION:Leadership Oklahoma City's Signature Program\, now in its 43rd year\, is a community leadership training program.  It is designed to increase the participant's knowledge about\, commitment to\, and effectiveness in the community in order to provide the region with a larger\, more effective pool of volunteer leadership. \n\n \n\nThe program consists of class sessions which each focus on a different topic or issue:  Personal and Group Leadership\, Justice and Public Safety\, Government and the Media\, Human Services\, Health and Medical Services\, Education\, Quality of Life and Economic Development are currently on the agenda. Sessions are held on the second Thursday\, October through May\, following a two-day mandatory Opening Retreat scheduled for Sept. 4-5\, 2025.\n\n \n\nCriteria\n\nApplication to any Leadership Oklahoma City program is open to anyone who meets the criteria.\n\nApplicants must be at least 21 years of age. There is no upper age limit.\n\nApplicants must live\, work\, or demonstrate a substantial involvement in Oklahoma City.\n\nApplicants for the Signature Program should have a significant history of community engagement or clear potential for future engagement.\n\n \n\nWhy should you apply?\n\nThe Signature Program is designed for experienced leaders who want to significantly increase their impact on their organizations and their community. This included senior executives\, presidents\, and vice presidents\, executive directors\, business owners\, and high-level directors and managers\, representing all industries and business types within our region.
