DESCRIPTION:The Project Life 5k\, a powerful initiative\, began as a fundraiser to purchase smoke alarms for Oklahoma City residents. The City recognized the significant impact of providing smoke alarms and now includes them in their budget\, enabling Project Life to fund the implementation of preventive solutions that greatly reduce the risk and impact of fire and life safety hazards in the community. \n\nOur 5k race is professionally timed and winds through beautiful downtown OKC. The 1-mile fun run/walk is popular with families\, and participants will also receive a finisher medal.\n\n\n\nThe race will kick off with a demonstration from the Oklahoma City Fire Department Honor Guard. There will be music\, and photo opportunities with Oklahoma City Fire firefighters.\n\nTogether\, we can truly make a significant difference in the lives of our fellow residents.  \n\nDon't miss out on the fun!
