Fees/Admission: The 3X per week at $315 is a discounted amount. This will be increasing to $365 on June 27th ($28 per session). Existing members will be grandfathered in. 
BOGO Introduction = $185 and includes a full introduction session from above PLUS a free introduction for a friend or family member. 

If you're familiar with personal training or have ever done it before, then you would know you could expect to pay anywhere from $40-$60 a training session that is focused on strength. That can come out to about $520 a month for working with someone 3X a week.

Our huge selling point is that we have the best coaches in this industry to get anyone stronger. They go through extensive training and coursework to reach their credential which is called a Starting Strength Coach (https://startingstrength.com/careers). Our training memberships start out right now at $24 per session which is substantially lower than our competitors. 
Jun 21 - Aug 31    Summer Networking Contest
Each year, we have been running a Summer Networking Contest as part of the Dream Team and Seriously Fun Group's networking activities from early June through the end of August.  This is aimed at reaching out to many of the Chamber members who are not regularly able to attend the monthly sessions.  Participants receive a monthly contest sheet which lists those chamber member businesses who are Stop Hosts showing their addresses, dates and times when they are open for this contest!  

Participants reach out to the Stop Hosts, in-person or via ZOOM during special events, via eMail, individual visits and receive a Jigsaw Puzzle piece.  At the Grand Finale on Thursday, September 9, each participant gets to pick out a prize donated by Stop Hosts . . . with the person with the most complete Jigsaw Puzzle going first!

Join us for a combined meeting of both the Seriously Fun and Dream Team as we continue our Summer Contest which is a Jigsaw Puzzle, this year!  We will have in-person with social distancing and also via ZOOM!  Again, Seriously Fun members are also invited to participate!!

Jul 22    IRS Hot Topics by Eide Bailly

This webinar will discuss key developments in individual and business taxation over the last year. Learn about the current IRS areas of focus in examination and appeals that may be of interest to business owners. We will also briefly discuss the impact of the election on the IRS and potential upcoming tax legislation. In addition, we will explore updates and issues stemming from the COVID-19 outbreak and changes to IRS procedures, including limits on information requests and examination enforcement.

  • Discuss the impact of new partnership audit rules in the post-TEFRA era; opt-out or opt-in?
  • Tax reform challenge and strategies: how is the IRS interpreting the latest strategies?
  • Explore the current status of IRS exam resources; new LB&I campaign update.
  • Review the process of an examination and the keys to presenting and protecting your evidence.
  • Identify the issues commonly raised by the IRS, including reasonable compensation, large losses, material participation and related party transactions.
  • Discuss the IRS Global High Wealth exam team that audits high wealth taxpayers.
  • Explore new IRS rules regarding required disclosure of captive insurance.
  • Review IRS issues involving Donor Advised Funds and IP Monetization.

Margarita has more than 14 years of tax experience specializing in federal tax, controversy and procedure. She represents clients before the IRS and States in appeals, collection (installment agreements, offer in compromise, levies, and liens) penalty abatement, and audit reconsideration for controversies involving the areas of income tax, employment tax and other various tax matters. Margarita works to negotiate, mediate, and settle with the IRS and other taxing authorities to resolve clients’ tax matters.

Elyse Katz, CPA, Senior Manager | Eide Bailly
Elyse is a former Revenue Agent with the IRS and comes to us with 10 years of experience in IRS Controversy cases. She handled the entire range of income tax audits from large flow-through business entities, captive insurance, employment tax, and individuals for the IRS. She can provide an in-depth understanding of complicated IRS audit issues as well as a diverse understanding of technical tax issues from the IRS perspective.
