We truly believe that for our student athletes to thrive, they must understand that life is not about themselves, but more importantly, it is about the people they impact. Our athletic department here at SFS is self-funded. We do not have a big booster club, which we see as a great opportunity to build meaningful relationships with local  businesses. It is because of local business owners like yourself that we are able to provide a first class extra curricular program here at SFS. We truly believe in offering a sponsorship that gives you value over a full calendar year. A sponsorship that no other high school can offer to you because of our relentless promotion on our campus and social media platforms. Your contribution is used to help all of our athletic programs throughout the school year. We are a blank canvas and are looking to improve our campus and experience for our student athletes, but we cannot do it without your help!
You make THE difference!

Apr 23    Metro B-Brief by Metro Technology Centers

This may be the most important synopsis of 2021!

Think Again:
The Power of Knowing What You Don't Know
By Adam Grant

Join us to discover the ability to seek out the ways we are wrong and start on the path to getting more things right.

Metro Tech’s Monthly Review of Books for Business Leaders continues to grow and reach new audiences. Join us and be a part of this exclusive virtual opportunity for business leaders.

Our speaker, Randy Mayeux, has been reviewing business literature for more than 20 years, and that experience really shows as he seamlessly draws comparisons between the subject book and other great authors. A national speaker and leader, Randy is the founder of the enormously successful First Friday Book Synopsis in Dallas.

If you don’t have time to stay up-to-date on current business books, let B-Briefs read them for you. We've added Randy to our instructional team, so you just have to log on and enjoy the presentation.

Why is this book worth your time?

By providing an eye-opening lesson on humility, Think Again focuses on how being wrong can cost money, relationships and lives. This book is a reminder that we can be wrong, we can be wrong often and we can be wrong in many ways. Adam Grant gives us a tutorial on how we can learn to rethink - to think again - in many parts of our lives, in order to defend ourselves and others from our wrong and dangerous views.
