Sep 10 BBB Connects Businesses and Consumers After Storms - by Better Business Bureau of Central Oklahoma |
Thousands of Oklahoma residents faced power outages and damages to their homes or businesses following recent severe storms in the Oklahoma City Metropolitan area. Therefore, consumers are searching for trustworthy businesses to compare quotes and read reviews following storm damage. Better Business Bureau (BBB) can help connect those consumers to reputable, Oklahoma-owned businesses they can trust.
Most consumers and businesses know that storm damage can cause a frenzy of fly-by-night businesses that flood the market. Consumers in search of services can filter through thousands of BBB online profiles to find services and products that fit their needs.
To capitalize on the spike in consumer searches, businesses can apply for BBB Accreditation and become an accredited business in a week or less by meeting BBB standards of trust. A free business profile will be created the same day businesses register with BBB.

Sep 17 Legacy Luncheon Featuring Christina Meredith by Lynn Institute |
Born into a large working-class family in upstate New York, Christina Meredith endured years of abuse before entering the foster care system as a teenager. She graduated from high school and aged out of the foster care system homeless. With nowhere to turn, Christina lived in her car for almost a year, working three jobs to survive.
Her story of triumph will inspire and motivate all of us to continue the important work of helping Oklahomans who need it most. |
