Applications will be taken through July 10, 2018. Applications are available for pickup at the South OKC Chamber's visitors center, open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

The mission of the CAB is to develop and maintain a partnership between the community and the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office. The CAB aims to reduce crime and to enhance the quality of life for all citizens through positive and open communication. The CAB was created to facilitate interactions between the Sheriff's Office and a committee of diverse citizens, derived from a cross section of citizens within Cleveland County to address issues and concerns within the Cleveland County Detention Center. The CAB will assist the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office in establishing the highest standards for accountability, with the goal of increasing the public's trust.
Membership is open to all residents in Cleveland County, Oklahoma, pursuant to the following:
* No members of the CAB may currently be a party to, nor be a legal representative in litigation, against the county.
* Each member must attend all training sessions and invest the required time and energy necessary to serve as a volunteer members of the CAB.
* Interested residents are encouraged to be active participants in citizen-based initiatives sponsored by the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office. Board members' interaction and input relative to organizational goals, strategies, and resource allocation are considered vital to the participative model embraced by the Sheriff's Office.
* An application process will be used to solicit interested residents to serve as members.
* The Cleveland County Sheriff's Office will have applications available for interested citizens.Date and Time
